WASP does not compete with other animal rights organizations for funds, donations, goods, or volunteers. We want to cooperate, not compete. For this reason, we have chosen not to participate in the 5x1000 fundraising campaign.
We believe a cultural revolution is needed to truly change things.
We are trying to create the conditions for this to happen using the same tools that dictate the laws of the market: supply and demand. With our purchasing power, we could make a difference simply by making ethical choices. For example, by rewarding all businesses that demonstrate they care about animal welfare (see Project WASP).
